BluePark Ecommerce is a small UK based company offering ecommerce solutions for small to medium businesses. The solutions on offer are adequate, but nothing special and we aren't sure how well they would scale if your business suddenly takes off. They are also slightly on the expensive side in our opinion and we feel it's possible to get more for your money elsewhere. However, there is nothing particularly wrong with the products on offer so read on to see what they are.

BluePark Ecommerce's main page didn't exactly fill us with confidence that this is a company who knows its stuff when it comes to web development. The design is very uninspiring and dreary, but all the information you need is there. As you might expect, the pre-packed templates aren't up to much in the design stakes either so you will have to do quite a bit of customizing to get anything looking good. This is fine, but it does help to start with a good base and that's something BluePark Ecommerce aren't offering here.

While the design may not be up to scratch, the functionality BluePark Ecommerce offers is slightly better. One single admin console lets you access all of your products, orders and customers so you are in complete control of your store. Again, it isn't the best looking admin console and we have found others easier to use, but the functionality is there. One of the stand-out features available on the more expensive plans is the ability to engage in live chat with your customers directly through your store. This is great if you are selling products that the customer may need some advice on before buying.

The stores created by BluePark Ecommerce are fully content managed from the same admin console so you won't have any problem adding new content, but on the lowest priced plan you can only have up to 200 products, which might not go very far. There isn't much traffic allowance either so you could find yourself incurring extra costs if you get a lot of visitors. However, you shouldn't struggle to attract customers with an SEO friendly design to boost your search rankings and a bulk email marketing tool to promote your store.

BluePark Ecommerce could do a lot better with their ecommerce solutions. Being a small company we have heard that they offer very good support though, which may be important if you don't have much technical expertise. For the same price there are a lot of other options out there and we would recommend checking out our top ten list for some of the best around.
